Membership Terms Terms & conditions for Everyman Cinema Membership Definition of Membership- A member of Everyman Cinema Membership shall be the person to whom Everyman Cinema Membership is issued following payment of the applicable Membership fee to Everyman Media Limited (“EML”). It is important that members read and understand these Terms and Conditions. By paying their subscription each member agrees to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions, as they may be modified from time to time.
- Joint membership is only valid for two people who live at the same address.
- Everyman Membership is only available to persons aged 18 years or over.
- The initial period of membership shall be 12 months (e.g. if receipt of payment is on 20th August 2010, membership will be valid until 19th August 2011). Membership will continue on an annual basis for as long as annual payments are made unless membership is terminated in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
Membership Benefits- The member is entitled to two complimentary tickets for each Everyman Membership purchased. These may be used once for free access to any ordinary film screening, which for the avoidance of doubt, excludes private hires, alternative content (including, but not limited, to National Theatre Live, MET Opera Live) and screenings with increased tickets prices (e.g. Operas), unless otherwise specified. They may be redeemed in any Everyman cinema, subject to seat availability and are subject to ticket terms and conditions. These can be redeemed against premium seats where available. They are only valid for the initial subscription period and are not transferable or refundable. They have no cash value and cannot be redeemed in whole or in part for cash.
- Gold Members are entitled to two complimentary tickets to film screenings throughout the period of their membership. These tickets excludes private hires, alternative content (including, but not limited, to National Theatre Live, MET Opera Live) and screenings with increased tickets prices (e.g. Operas), unless otherwise specified.
- The Everyman Cinema Membership also includes an invitation for two complimentary glasses of sparkling wine per membership (Joint and Gold Members receive four complimentary glasses of sparkling wine). This invitation is non-transferable, non-refundable and has no cash value. It may not be redeemed in part and cannot be used as part payment. Where alcohol is not wanted by the member, a suitable alternative soft drink may be provided, at the discretion of the cinema manager on duty.
- Advanced booking may be offered to members on selected events, at the sole discretion of EML. The number of tickets that are available to book in advance for each performance and the duration of advanced booking will be at the discretion of EML.
- “Member’s rewards” refers to loyalty reward offers which EML may provide to members. In order to accrue rewards, member transactions must be logged against a membership account. Any transaction not logged against a membership account at the time of the transaction cannot be treated as a member transaction. All “Member’s rewards” will be at the discretion of EML and may be withdrawn, altered or cancelled at any time. “Member’s rewards” are non-transferable, non-refundable and have no cash value.
- “Member’s events” refers to events organised by or on behalf of EML specifically for holders of Everyman Cinema Membership. The price, timing and organisation of these events will be at the sole discretion of EML. EML may, on occasion, allow members to bring non-member guests to “Member’s events”. There will be limited tickets for each event. Possession of an Everyman Cinema Membership will not guarantee access to any “Member’s event”, free event or any event, screening, activity or venue owned, managed or hired by EML.
Lost, Stolen or Defective Cards- If a membership card is lost, stolen or defective, the member must notify EML as soon as possible. If a membership card is lost, stolen or defective, EML will allow one replacement card to be issued free of charge. The replacement of any additional cards thereafter will incur a £10 per replacement card administration fee. If the card is defective, the member must return it to the Membership Team of EML at Level 3, 131-133 Baker St, London, W1U 6SE. EML’s liability in such circumstances shall expressly be limited to the replacement of the defective Membership Card.
Membership Cancellation – by Member- A member may cancel their Everyman Cinema Membership at any time and for any reason. The member must give a minimum of fourteen days written notice to of cancelation to EML (to Level 3, 131-133 Baker St, London, W1U 6SE). The member’s account will be closed by EML on or around the date requested by the member and any “Member’s rewards” accrued but not yet used will be cancelled. Membership cannot be reopened. A member may decide to subsequently apply for a new membership which will not entitle them to any of the cancelled “Member’s rewards” accrued through any previous closed memberships.
- No refund will be given in the event of a cancelled membership.
Membership Cancellation – by EML- EML reserves the right to terminate any membership account in the event of fraud, false declarations or falsifications in registration, fraudulent use of the Everyman Cinema Membership Card, an irregularity in payment, failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions of Everyman Cinema Membership or failure to comply with Everyman Cinemas General Terms and Conditions. EML will give fourteen days written notice of intent to cancel. Any “Member’s rewards” not claimed by the date of cancellation will be cancelled and the member will be unable to claim them in the future.
Cancellation Refunds- In the event of membership cancellation by the Member or EML, there will be no refund in whole or in part of the annual membership fee.
Liability - EML shall not be liable to the member in respect of any direct, indirect or consequential damage, costs or expenses or any other claims for consequential loss whatsoever which arise out of or in connection with the Everyman Cinema Membership Card.
- The liability of EML shall not exceed the annual membership fee paid by the member.
Member Information- EML is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. EML undertakes not to disclose any data without your consent or as permitted by the Data Protection Act 1998 (the “Act“).For the purpose of the Act, the data controller is EML.
- The member authorises EML to use any information provided to EML to the extent reasonably necessary to provide the member with offers, products and/or services offered by EML from time to time, and information relating thereto. The member authorises EML to use personal information to aggregate member profiles. EML will not share any personal information provided to it with any other partner or partner organization or third parties.
Changes to Membership Terms and Conditions- These Terms and Conditions may change from time to time at the discretion of EML. The annual membership fee may change from time to time at the discretion of EML.

- If any part of these Terms and Conditions is found by a court or any competent authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable then such part shall be severed from the remainder of the agreement which shall continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
- These Terms and Conditions (and any dispute or claim relating to it, its enforceability or its termination) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
