On Friday 26th April, we were thrilled to welcome director Michael Winterbottom plus actors Tamsin Edgerton and Steve Coogan, for a live Q&A following a preview screening of their latest film, THE LOOK OF LOVE.

ADDICTIVE TV opens Everyman Leeds

This Saturday, Everyman Leeds hosted a special live event one week before officially opening the doors to the general public.

Audio/video remixers and mash-up experts, Addictive TV joined us for the ultimate multi-sensory experience as they performed an exclusive live set, that combined both music and film. This was then followed by a special screening of the smash-hit documentary, SHUT UP AND PLAY THE HITS, about LCD Soundysystem.

On April 26th, we will be excited to welcome the first of our cinemas to the third largest city in England. Here, CEO Andrew Myers, talks to BBC Look North about what visitors should expect from Everyman Leeds.

04/12/12 - Everyman Hampstead

Last night's live Q&A with Oscar-winning director Martin McDonagh (In Bruges) following a screening of his latest film SEVEN PSYCHOPATHS.

Marty (Farrell) is a struggling writer who dreams of finishing his screenplay, "Seven Psychopaths". Billy (Rockwell) is Marty's best friend, an unemployed actor and part time dog thief, who wants to help Marty by any means necessary. All he needs is a little focus and inspiration. Hans (Walken) is Billy's partner in crime. A religious man with a violent past. Charlie (Harrelson) is the psychopathetic gangster whose beloved dog, Billy and Hans have just stolen. Charlie's unpredictable, extremely violent and wouldn't think twice about killing anyone or anything associated with the theft. Marty is going to get all the focus and inspiration he needs, just as long as he lives to tell the tale.

A STRANGE HOUR IN BUDAPEST + LIVE Q&A

We are delighted to announce that ex-Depeche Mode member Alan Wilder will be joining us to present two back-to-back screenings of the Recoil concert film A Strange Hour in Budapest.

The performance was filmed using the latest high-definition technology to capture the event in its full glory, and is a must-see for all Alan Wilder/Recoil fans.

Both of these special screenings with be followed by a live Q&A session with Alan, and tickets for either screening includes access to an afterparty with DJ in the bar until late.

Last night saw Screen On The Green play host to a live Q&A with costume designer Prof. Deborah Nadoolman Landis before a special screening of 80's cult classic The Blues Brothers.

Introduced by The Guardian's own Jason Solomons, the evening was a great success with people dressing up in full costume and signing along with all the memorable tunes. Plus Ms. Landis was willing to sign copies of the accompanying book to the V&A exhibition: Hollywood Costume where she is currently acting as the Senior Guest Curator.

Last Saturday, we brought you a screening of the classic rom-zom-com Shaun of the Dead. Starring the British duo Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, this screening came part of our Late Nights season at Screen on the Green. We are excited to announce the full refurbishment of Everyman Walton. The cinema will offer a carefully selected and varied programme of films and special events, including the Metropolitan Opera from New York and the National Theatre, along with the service and hospitality for which Everyman is renowned. The venue features two screens with a total capacity of 158 seats with sofas throughout, a fully licensed bar with fine wines, champagnes, beers and cocktails, an enhanced food offering including freshly made pizzas, and the very latest in digital projection by way of Sony Digital 4K projectors with 3D capabilities.

On Saturday September 17th, the UK's first-ever football film festival kicked off with a Fighting Talk special for BBC Radio 5 Live at the Everyman Cinema in Belsize Park. The special show was recorded in front of a live audience in North London. Joining the award-winning radio show's host, Colin Murray, were leading British film producer Stephen Woolley, Guardian TV critic Martin Kelner, comedian Dougie Anderson and Kicking & Screening's co-producer, Tom Watt.
