COVID FAQs

Here’s everything we’re doing to keep you and our teams safe and comfortable on your next visit.

HOW WILL THE EVERYMAN EXPERIENCE BE AFFECTED BY GOVERNMENT COVID GUIDELINES?

Everyman has cinemas across the UK. We have cinemas in Scotland, Wales and England where COVID guidance differs from country to country.

England

If you are visiting an Everyman cinema in England, we ask that you wear a face covering if you are able. This is now a requirement for all guests, so whether it's your finest DIY made at home design, or something bought in store, you’ll need to have one on your next visit. You are allowed to take your mask off when eating or drinking. Our team will continue to wear face coverings.

While social distancing restrictions in England are not currently in place, at Everyman we take everyone’s well-being seriously. We have plenty of space between our comfy sofas, excellent ventilation in all our screens and hand sanitiser available in our bar and lounge areas.

Scotland

Face masks are required of all guests, unless exempt, and as of 27th December 2021 the Scottish government will be introducing social distancing regulations in all cinemas. If you're visiting Everyman Glasgow, you might notice some changes to our seating plan when booking tickets and it might be necessary for our cinema staff to find a new seat for you when you arrive at the cinema. This is to make sure there’s plenty of space between you and the other customers.

Wales

If you're visiting Everyman Cardiff you will be required to wear a face mask and to show your NHS COVID Pass to prove you are either fully vaccinated, or have had a recent negative Lateral Flow Test.

As of 26th December 2021, the Welsh government will reinstate social distancing regulations in cinemas; this means it may be necessary to reseat you upon arrival to ensure there is a safe distance between you and neighbouring parties. Following these social distancing guidelines, from the 26th of December you will only be able to book for a group up to 6 people to visit Everyman Cardiff.

WHAT PRECAUTIONS ARE WE TAKING TO KEEP YOU SAFE IN OUR VENUES?

Tickets

You can book in person but we recommend booking online or on the Everyman App before you visit so we can avoid any unnecessary queuing.

Cashless Payments

We encourage contactless card and mobile payments only across all our venues to make purchases and ordering safer.

Films

As part of our great programme, you can expect more time between each film showing so we can make sure everything is spotless for our next guests.

Food & Drinks

We’ll also be continuing to bring your food & drinks orders to you at your seat to avoid unnecessary queuing and provide plenty of room for everyone to move around freely.

Cleanliness

Our bathrooms will be stocked with our usual great soaps and we’ll have sanitiser available in each of our bar and lounge areas, so please do keep on washing those hands.

Sofas

If you visit Everyman Cardiff or Everyman Glasgow, you will notice we've made some changes to our seating to make sure every person or group has plenty of space between themselves and others.
