On May 22nd 2017, 22 lives were taken and hundreds more destroyed by the worst terror attack on British soil in over a decade. The tragedy left a city in mourning but united in their grief and a vow not to look back in anger.
Mainstream media in the days, weeks, and months that followed took to documenting the death and destruction that happened on that night. Mancunians Anton Arenko and Ste Bergin saw this coverage and asked, "why are they focusing on the negatives and not showing the way Manchester bounces back?"
A Manchester Story documents the untold stories that happened in the aftermath of the Manchester Arena Bombing and follows a variety of stories from people across the city and beyond.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A with director Anton Arenko.
All proceeds from ticket sales are going to support the charity We Love MCR.
