Everyman Hampstead is hosting an evening in support of Erkeengler, a charity very close to our heart.
In honour of our Venue Manager we will be screening her short film before the feature Edward Scissorhands.
On the 19th of July, brothers Gabriel (1) and Mikael (7) were abruptly ripped away from their family and this earth. Gabriel, although very young, had a strong personality. He was the big chief in any room he walked into, and always had a smile on his face. Mikael was an amazing older brother to him with a big heart for his family and the people around him. He was very active in sports, loved playing Fortnite and was an excellent dancer.
In honour of the boys, the family and a dear friend have established Erkeengler, which translates to Archangels. The purpose of the charity is to help children from underprivileged families and backgrounds the opportunity to pursue sports and the arts, and to be able to continue supporting them through their teenage years. In the long run, the charity wishes to work across the whole of Norway, but is currently focusing on two municipalities Lørenskog and Rælingen, where the boys were from.

All proceeds from the event will go directly to the charity.
Erkeengler are also hosting a silent auction, including some great prizes donated by Everyman. You can take part in the auction here.
We reveal new films and events every Monday evening, so you know what's coming up at Everyman as soon as we do.
