‘Rip Up The Road’ is a documentary and concert film capturing a very specific snapshot of one of our generation’s most beloved and progressive bands, Foals.
The screening will be followed by a live Q&A with the director Toby L and all proceeds will go directly to Help Musicians.
Help Musicians is an independent charity with an extraordinary history. For nearly 100 years, it has provided a broad spectrum of help, support and opportunities to make a meaningful difference to the lives of professional musicians. Tens of thousands of musicians across the UK make their income from performing live, so when Coronavirus forced the UK into lockdown their income stopped dead. Since March, Help Musicians has been supporting them to survive financially as well as offering mental health support and ways to continue creating the music we all value so much.
Help Musicians’ hardship funding has so far provided over £11m in support to over 20,000 musicians across the UK. However, with live music looking to be one of the last sectors of the economy to return to normal, the need to support them continues. Love music? Help Musicians
