Everyman brings you i-D’s latest series of documentaries – three films that tell three very different but equally captivating stories.
The first one is Tijuana: A Mexican Dream, for which i-D travelled to the Mexican border town to speak to migrants and local creatives about how the recent migrant crisis and tightening of Donald Trump’s immigration policy have affected their lives.
Indigenous Youth: Heritage as Healing focuses on how reconnecting with your Native American roots can heal the trauma carried by previous generations of your community.
Finally, i-D hangs out with the new generation of New York designers to explore how they are disrupting the traditionally formulaic model of New York Fashion Week in The New New York.
Proceeds from ticket sales will go to the charity “Border Angels” – an organisation that advocates for human rights, immigration reform and social justice. For more information please visit https://www.borderangels.org/.
We reveal new films and events every Monday evening, so you know what's coming up at Everyman as soon as we do.
