Geoff lives to take care of his beloved 8-year-old grand daughter whilst caring for Janet, his disabled and alcoholic partner. One day, a stranger with a facemask confronts him with a meat cleaver but escapes before doing any damage. After 8 years of absence, Rose, the youngest daughter of Janet, has returned after disappearing at the age of 14. The tension in the household intensifies when Rose stages a kidnap to get to know the young girl. When she’s returned, Geoff barricades the entrance points of the house and forbids anyone to leave. Rose’s campaign of intimidation continues while Geoff’s controlled life spirals out of control. The rift between Rose and Geoff is about to get settled – once and for all.
