This is a new film by the esteemed director Avi Neshser, one of the most favorites filmmakers in Israel. A thought-provoking and powerful anti-war epic, telling the story of the 1948 Israeli War of Independence from both sides at the Battle of Nitzanim. The Egyptian warriors are accompanied by a young film director whose job is to document the fighting, and especially to achieve the “image of victory” of the Egyptian army. An unexpected sequence of events leads to a violent confrontation between the two sides. Who will end up with the image of victory?
