A (realistic) story about motherhood in 2018.

Academy Award winner Charlize Theron plays Marlo, an exhausted mother of three whose sleepless nights and lack of personal space has left her miserable, carrying too much weight for any one person. Correctly assuming Marlo is headed towards an imminent breakdown, her brother Craig (Mark Duplass) offers the family a lifechanging gift; Tully.
Hesitant to the extravagance at first, stubborn Marlo comes to form a unique bond with the thoughtful, surprising, and sometimes challenging young nanny named Tully (Mackenzie Davis).
