Now, as a grandmother, Gracie welcomes Elizabeth Berry (Natalie Portman), a Hollywood star researching her story for an upcoming indie film. May December explores the blurred lines between reality and representation as Elizabeth delves into Gracie's life and past, confronting the moral gray areas and complexities of the story.
