Set two years after the events of the first film, Joker: Folie à Deux finds Arthur Fleck locked away in Arkham after inciting a citywide riot and murdering a talk show host on live television. Within the cold confines of the psychiatric hospital, Arthur meets Lee, a music therapist whose obsession with him—and with the Joker persona—quickly spirals into a delusional and deadly romance. As their bond intensifies, the line between reality and fantasy blurs, and their shared psychosis manifests in musical numbers that range from classic ballads to twisted, hallucinatory show tunes.
