Join us under the sea at Everyman this December!

Get ready to dive deep: The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants splashes into Everyman on 26 December 2025. This all-new adventure brings together ghostly legends, swashbuckling chaos, and the warm-hearted silliness that makes Bikini Bottom so loved.

SpongeBob (Tom Kenny) sets out to prove his bravery to Mr. Krabs (Clancy Brown), dragging Patrick (Bill Fagerbakke) along on a plunge into the Underworld. There, they come face-to-face with the legendary Flying Dutchman, voiced by Mark Hamill, whose booming presence adds a fun, spooky edge to the journey.

The mission isn’t just about monsters or mayhem -  it’s a story about courage and confidence, as SpongeBob confronts his own nerves while battling ghost pirates and navigating the ocean’s darkest corners.

Directed by Derek Drymon, one of the original creative forces behind the character, the film blends bold 3D animation with flashes of 2D for a style that feels new without losing that Nickelodeon charm.

The screenplay comes from Pam Brady and Matt Lieberman, with a story by Brady alongside long-time SpongeBob producers Marc Ceccarelli and Kaz.

Expect everything fans adore: wild gags, musical moments, big-hearted friendship, and a few surprises courtesy of the fresh cast additions.
