What you need to know...

Love, loss, and second chances unfold at Everyman this Autumn

From visionary director Kogonada (Pachinko), A Big Bold Beautiful Journey is a sweeping romance starring Margot Robbie and Colin Farrell, with Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Jodie Turner-Smith, and Kevin Kline joining the all-star cast.

What starts as a chance meeting soon takes Sarah and David somewhere they could never have imagined. A strange sat-nav leads them through doors that open onto moments from their own lives,  the highs, the heartbreaks, and everything in between. As they retrace these steps, they’re forced to face how the past still shapes them, and whether they’re ready to let it go in order to move forward.

Both Robbie and Farrell have called the shoot a transformative experience, with Robbie describing it as “one of the most magical experiences of my life.” Kogonada frames their story as an exploration of love, grief, and the ways the past and present intertwine, blending romance, philosophy, and a touch of magical realism into a film unlike anything else this year.

With its luminous visuals, heartfelt performances, and a trailer featuring Gracie Abrams’ haunting “I miss you, I’m sorry”, this is cinema at its most intimate and otherworldly.

Did you know?

This is the first time Margot Robbie and Colin Farrell have shared the screen together. Both have said the film left a personal impact on them, even after the cameras stopped rolling.
