Relaxed Screenings at Everyman

Welcome to Relaxed Screenings – a more comfortable, inclusive way to experience the magic of cinema. Designed for neurodiverse guests, including those with autism and sensory sensitivities, as well as families, friends, and carers. These monthly screenings create a calm and judgment-free environment for everyone to enjoy.

To help make your visit as stress-free as possible, we adjust the cinema setting to be sensory-friendly: sound levels are reduced, lighting is dimmed, and there are no trailers or ads before the film. You're welcome to move around, make noise, or just enjoy the film in whatever way feels right for you.

We’ve also reduced screen capacity to allow for more personal space and freedom to settle in. Unlike our regular screenings, you’re welcome to bring your own snacks and use electronic devices if needed. A countdown timer will appear on screen before the film begins, giving you time to prepare. Our trained team members will be present and easily accessible throughout the screening should you need any assistance. Additionally, we’ve introduced a quiet, private space for anyone who may need a break before, during, or after the film.

Relaxed Screenings are all about creating a safe, welcoming space where guests can enjoy films together, free from pressure or judgment.
